Marc de Man is a founding partner of De Man Pillet, formerly De Man, Pilotte. Marc was born in Antwerp, Belgium and lived for several years in Buenos Aires, Argentina and Santiago, Chile. Marc has over 40 years of experience in maritime law, transport law, international trade, commercial law, arbitration and mediation. He advises a variety of clients in the maritime industry and in particular protection and indemnity insurance mutuals (P&I Clubs), cargo insurers, shipowners, charterers, suppliers of goods and services to ships. , as well as shippers and consignees of goods. In commercial matters, Marc represents banking institutions, as well as shipping companies and import-export companies. His practice leads him to represent interests from North America, Central America and South America, Europe, Asia and Australia.
